Retail and private-label packaging
Private-label packaging is consumer-facing, so it adds artwork, labelling and brand requirements on top of protecting the product. The pack must present the brand correctly and carry compliant destination-market information while still surviving transit. Format choices — pouch, jar, box or bag — follow the product, the shelf presentation and the retail channel.
Artwork and label control
Every retail pack depends on controlled artwork. The label must carry the correct product name, organic claim and certifier reference, net weight, lot and dates, origin, ingredient and allergen information, and importer details for the destination. Because errors are expensive once printed, artwork must be approved before printing, and it should be checked against the destination-market rules and the certified organic scope. See export label and artwork review.
Destination label rules
Label requirements differ by market — language, mandatory statements, organic logo use and importer identification all vary. A retail pack designed for one destination is not automatically compliant elsewhere. Confirm the destination rules before finalising artwork.
