Export label and artwork review
Label and artwork review is the gate that prevents costly print and compliance errors. Because a printed label is expensive to change and re-labelling at a port is worse, artwork is reviewed and signed off before printing, against both the destination-market rules and the certified organic scope.
Sign-off gates
A controlled process has clear approval points: a draft is checked against the specification and destination rules, corrections are made, and a final version is approved by the responsible parties before any print run. Nothing prints until the artwork is signed off. This mirrors the artwork-approval rule used across private-label packaging.
Destination-label consistency
The information on the label must be consistent with the invoice, packing list, certificates and physical product — product name, net weight, lot and dates, origin and organic claim must match. Inconsistent data between the label and the documents is a common cause of clearance problems.
Organic logo and claim use
Use of an organic logo and any organic claim must fall within the certified and legal scope for the destination, with the certifier reference shown as required. The certification body may need to approve organic-logo or claim use in addition to the buyer and importer.
