Growsian Agro sources and exports organic powders and dehydrated ingredients from India for importers, ingredient distributors, food manufacturers, wholesalers and private-label brands in United States. The commercial route is matched to the product, USDA Organic, quantity, packaging, importer setup, destination port and intended sales format.
We work as a multi-supplier exporter and sourcing partner. This gives buyers access to qualified producers, processors and packers without limiting the programme to one farm or factory.
Products available for United States
- dehydrated onion and garlic;
- beetroot, spinach and tomato powders;
- banana and mango powders;
- spice and botanical powders;
- jaggery, coconut and related shelf-stable ingredients;
Final availability is confirmed against certification scope, product form, intended use, processing, packaging and destination requirements.
Certification and import route
The target route is based on USDA Organic and USDA National Organic Program under 7 CFR Part 205.
| Checkpoint | What must be confirmed |
|---|---|
| Indian supply chain | Certified farm, supplier, processor, packer and exporter activities as applicable |
| Product scope | Exact product and commercial form covered by certification |
| Importer | US importer certified where required under USDA organic rules |
| Organic documentation | electronic NOP Import Certificate data generated in the USDA Organic Integrity Database |
| Entry process | organic status declared to US Customs and Border Protection through ACE |
| Commercial records | Product identity, organic status, quantities and lots consistent across documents |
| Retail or food-service label | USDA organic labelling and seal rules, plus FDA food labelling requirements |
Certification and import documentation must be designed before the goods are dispatched. They should not be treated as a post-shipment correction.
India-to-USA organic route
India’s former USDA recognition arrangement has ended. For certified organic exports from India, applicable supply-chain operations must use USDA-accredited certification. Each imported organic shipment must be associated with valid electronic NOP Import Certificate data, and organic identity must be consistent across invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and customs data.
Buyer groups we support
Importers and distributors
Source several Indian product categories through one commercial relationship with the exporter-side documentation coordinated for the agreed route.
Food and ingredient manufacturers
Buy ingredients by form, application, physical parameters, microbiology, residue expectations, treatment and packaging.
Wholesalers and food-service suppliers
Use commercial pack sizes, pallet or container quantities and mixed-product consolidation where feasible.
Private-label brands
Coordinate certified products through suitable packers with artwork, labels, barcode data and market-specific organic claims reviewed before production.
Product specifications and testing
The buyer can supply a specification, current COA or intended application. Depending on product category, the offer may address:
- identity, variety, botanical species or plant part;
- whole, split, hulled, powdered, dehydrated or oil form;
- colour, purity, moisture, size, mesh or grade;
- sensory or functional values where commercially relevant;
- microbiological acceptance criteria;
- pesticide residues, heavy metals, mycotoxins, allergens and other contaminants where applicable;
- process and treatment status;
- packaging and shelf life.
Lot-level results are handled through samples, approved specifications, COAs or test reports rather than fixed generic values on the website.
Product-specific compliance review
Organic certification is only one part of market access. The importer should also verify commodity admissibility, food-safety requirements, novel or regulated ingredients, additives, allergens, maximum residue levels, claims and packaging rules.
Botanical ingredients require particular care because a food use accepted in India may be restricted or classified differently in United States. The intended product category and label claims should therefore be disclosed in the RFQ.
Packaging for United States
Possible formats include:
- food-grade bulk bags with liners;
- lined paper bags;
- cartons and drums;
- suitable liquid containers;
- food-service packs;
- retail and private-label packs.
Packaging is selected for product protection, moisture, oxygen, aroma, oil migration, breakage and transit. Final labels remain subject to importer and market review.
For private label, provide:
- target market and sales channel;
- pack size and material;
- artwork and barcode ownership;
- mandatory language;
- ingredient, allergen and nutrition information;
- organic-logo and certifier instructions;
- quantity and launch date.

Logistics from India
FOB, CFR and CIF quotations can be evaluated. Typical routing may use New York/New Jersey, Savannah, Houston, Los Angeles/Long Beach or another nominated port, depending on buyer location, shipment scale, carrier availability and import arrangements.
A complete logistics request includes product quantities, packaging, preferred port, importer details, LCL or FCL basis, target date and document instructions. Port names are planning examples, not commitments.
Mixed-product shipments
Compatible products can be considered for consolidation when certification, supplier readiness, packing, lot traceability, documentation and freight economics align. Mixed shipments are useful for distributors and brands testing several Indian categories without ordering a full container of each product.
