Growsian Agro sources and exports organic herbs and botanical ingredients from India for EU importers, European ingredient distributors, food manufacturers across EU member states and organic brands and private-label buyers. The commercial route is built around the product, EU Organic, quantity, packaging, importer requirements, destination port and intended sales format.
We operate as a multi-supplier exporter and sourcing partner. This allows us to identify an eligible certified producer, processor or packer instead of restricting the buyer to one farm or facility.
What we supply to European Union
- moringa leaf powder;
- ashwagandha powder;
- amla powder;
- tulsi leaves and powder;
- neem, brahmi and shatavari powders;
- triphala and licorice powders;
- hibiscus, senna and wheatgrass products;
Final availability is confirmed against certification scope, product form, quantity, processing and destination-market requirements.
Certification and organic import route
The intended route is based on EU Organic and EU Regulation 2018/848. The organic product, operators and relevant activities must be covered before the product is offered as organic in European Union.
| Commercial checkpoint | Requirement to confirm |
|---|---|
| Exporter and supply chain | Applicable certified operators and activities |
| Product | Product and form covered by the selected certification route |
| Importer | EU importer or first consignee |
| Organic shipment document | Certificate of Inspection in TRACES NT |
| Commercial documents | Invoice, packing list and transport document aligned with the organic shipment data |
| Border or entry process | Importer and agent to confirm entry point, pre-notification and documentary checks |
| Labels | EU food-information rules, organic control-code treatment, origin wording, ingredient and allergen information and the applicable rules for use of the EU organic logo |
Organic documentation must be planned before dispatch. It should not be treated as a paperwork correction after goods leave India.
EU-wide route, buyer-specific execution
EU Organic establishes a common regulatory framework, but product composition, national-language labels, border routing, buyer specifications and competent-authority practices still need to be checked for the destination member state. The RFQ should therefore identify the final country, importer, port and sales format rather than stating only “Europe.”
Buyer groups we serve
Importers and distributors
Source multiple Indian organic categories through one commercial relationship, with documentation coordinated for the destination route.
Food and ingredient manufacturers
Request products against application, form, process, specification, residues, microbiology, packaging and delivery requirements.
Wholesalers and food-service suppliers
Buy commercial pack sizes or mixed-product consignments where consolidation is practical.
Private-label brands
Evaluate retail-ready products through certified packers, with artwork, organic claims and destination labels reviewed before production.
Product specifications and testing
We use common commercial specifications as a starting point, but the buyer’s requirements define the offer. Depending on the category, important criteria can include:
- identity, variety, species or plant part;
- whole, split, hulled, powdered, dehydrated or oil form;
- purity, moisture, size, mesh or grade;
- product-specific active, sensory or functional values where requested;
- microbiological limits;
- pesticide residues, contaminants, heavy metals, mycotoxins or allergens where relevant;
- process or treatment status;
- bulk or retail packaging.
Lot-specific results are handled through the offered specification, sample, COA or test report as commercially agreed.
Packaging for European Union
Available formats may include food-grade bags with liners, lined paper bags, cartons, drums, liquid containers, food-service packs and retail packs. Final packaging depends on product protection, order quantity, buyer handling, transit and label requirements.
For private label, the buyer should provide:
- destination and sales channel;
- pack size and material;
- artwork and barcode information;
- required language;
- ingredient, allergen and nutrition inputs;
- organic-logo and control-code instructions;
- expected order size and launch date.

Logistics from India
We can evaluate FOB, CFR or CIF supply. Typical routing may use Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg or another buyer-nominated EU port, depending on buyer location, product, carrier availability and import arrangements.
A useful logistics request includes:
- product list and quantity;
- supplier or consolidation locations if known;
- destination port and final delivery point;
- pallet and container preference;
- LCL or FCL requirement;
- target shipment window;
- importer and customs-agent details;
- required original or electronic documents.
Port references are planning examples, not routing commitments.
Mixed-product supply
A shipment may combine compatible products where certification, supplier timing, packaging, documents and freight economics support consolidation. Mixed-product planning is especially useful for distributors, wholesalers and private-label businesses building a broader Indian organic range.

Frequently asked questions
Can you supply EU Organic-certified products from India to European Union?
Yes, subject to current product and operator certification scope. We confirm the eligible supply route for the product, form and destination before finalising the offer.
Who handles the import approval and border clearance?
The buyer’s importer and customs or port agent remain responsible for local import actions. We coordinate exporter-side product, organic and commercial documents required under the agreed shipment route.
Can you supply several products in one shipment?
Yes, subject to certification compatibility, supplier readiness, packing, documentation and freight feasibility.
Can you support private-label products?
Yes, where a suitable certified processor or packer supports the product and quantity. Labels and organic claims must be reviewed for the destination before printing.
Do you publish fixed specifications and prices?
No. Product parameters and prices vary by crop, form, certification, quantity, packing, destination and freight. We issue a requirement-specific offer.
Can you quote delivered prices?
CFR or CIF can be evaluated when the destination port, quantity and shipment timing are known. Inland delivery requires separate assessment.
