Growsian Agro coordinates UK organic certification within a documented export supply programme. For each order, the relevant product, operator, lot, evidence and destination requirements are aligned before dispatch.
Great Britain and Northern Ireland use different organic import routes. Goods from India to Great Britain need the recognised GB route and a GB Certificate of Inspection, while Northern Ireland follows the applicable EU route.

The UK organic framework after EU exit
Following the UK’s departure from the EU, Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) operates its own organic controls, while Northern Ireland continues to follow the EU organic rules under the applicable arrangements. The route into the UK therefore depends on whether goods are destined for Great Britain or Northern Ireland.
Approved GB control bodies
For Great Britain, the operator must be certified by a GB-approved organic control body for the relevant scope. Confirm the control body’s GB approval and the certified products and activities before treating a product as eligible for the GB market.
GB import route and documentation
Consignments imported into Great Britain require the applicable GB organic import documentation — a GB Certificate of Inspection or the current equivalent — linking the consignment to the certified operator. Northern Ireland consignments follow the EU route, including a Certificate of Inspection in TRACES NT.
Great Britain versus Northern Ireland
The GB and Northern Ireland routes can require different control-body recognition and different consignment documents. Confirm the destination within the UK and use the correct route; a document prepared for one is not automatically valid for the other.
Labelling
Organic labelling and logo use must follow the rules applicable to the destination within the UK. Approve artwork against those requirements before printing.
